Mile 16 - A new day

In preparation for my 6:30 am flight tomorrow, I needed to go print my boarding pass on campus as I do not have a printer in my flat. With this in mind and taking full advantage of my time, I decided today would be the day I run around Regent's Park. Well, the inner circle - baby steps.

Today had to have been the hottest day in London this year. A whopping 82 degrees!  Naturally everyone was out and about trying to get as much vitamin D as humanly possible withing a 12 hour time span. Regen'ts Park, besides being to location of my school, is also a hot bed for all things outdoors -ponds, paddle boats, lush flower gardens, cafes, beer gardens, London Zoo, Primrose Hill.

Unfortunately ,I neglected to plug my iphone in last night, resulting in my phone dying at the very second I started running. Sadly not as many pictures as Regent's Park deserves to express the
tranquil beauty of Her Majesty's Royal Park. I'll return for a more extensive run when I get back from Italy.

Twice around the inner circle is approximately 1.4 miles. I completed the 1.4 miles without stopping and my fastest pace yet during the last .4 miles. Things are started to improve. There is hope!

Right, I really must get to bed if I want to have at least 3 hours of sleep before my 4am taxi service to Liverpool Street Station. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. Mile 17 - Vicenza, Italy! Ciao
